The Challenge 

Our client wanted something that felt different than the video game that they worked on every day. It needed to feel celebratory, exciting, and unlike anything we had made for them before. 

The Process 

Because of our steadfast relationships with vendors from coast to coast, we could quickly assemble a creative cocktail kit featuring small business names. We started with a bottle of rye whiskey from Healdsburg, California-based Lost Republic. Then, we chose the Apricot Cranberry Smash infusion kits from Camp Craft Cocktails, a woman-owned small business, which lent a delightfully fruity flavor to the whiskey. The result is an old-fashioned-style cocktail that is perfectly paired with spring's longer days and warmer nights. 

We completed the cocktail kit with a strawberry shortcake-flavored chocolate bar from Compartes Chocolatier, which is known for using the freshest ingredients to create its delectable treats. Finally, the gift recipient also received a Cocktails Made Simple recipe book—a necessity for any home cocktail connoisseur. Fun fact: we can source pretty much any book through our vendors. 

A simple box exterior emblazoned with the Call of Duty logo allowed us to get more creative with the interior. The inside lid was imprinted with an orange-blossom motif that our team designed, reminiscent of the infused whiskey's citrus notes.

The Results 

Among the kits that we have created for this client, this cocktail kit remains a clear favorite. Who doesn't want to kick back with a fancy drink after a long week? Cheers to spring!
